Blistered Driftwood Sticks

Blistered driftwood sticks are an interesting type of hardscape to use for the planted aquarium and provide a unique look that isn't commonly seen in a standard planted tank. These pieces of natural wood are straight and feature a bumpy texture that would work well when creating forest aquascapes. Alternatively, depending on the tank size, they can be placed at the base for a fallen trunk appearance. Driftwood can leech tannins which can cause a slight yellow or brown tint to your water.  This is natural and the effects will reduce over time.  Boiling the wood prior to use can decrease the tannins leeching.
