Thorn Wood

Thorn Wood is a unique type of aquarium driftwood that features a straight profile and thorn-like branches that shoot out from the sides of the main trunk. Due to having a straight profile, Thorn Wood is well-suited for larger aquariums that have space to accommodate these pieces. The thorns on this driftwood are sharp and should not be used in planted tanks that have sensitive livestock with fragile finnage such as Betta Fish or Fancy Goldfish. Otherwise, Thorn Wood is great for recreating forest scene aquascapes in the aquarium!

Important note: We recommend rinsing wood thoroughly before adding it to an established aquarium. If you prefer, you may also boil the wood for at least 1-2 hours to help release tannins.
