Anubias Nana Epaqmat by Songrow
Family Name: Araceae
Origin: West Africa
Co2: Not Required
Propagation: Separate by Rhizome
Growth rate: Slow to Moderate
These plants are grown on an aquarium safe felt material with suction cups attached to the back which allows you to create a live background in your aquarium. You can cut the mat into smaller pieces as needed for your aquascape or even place them directly onto your substrate to create a lush and instant carpet. Simply bury the suction cups into your substrate or use some gravel or soil to weigh the mat down.
Anubias Nana is one of the most popular aquatic plants in the hobby. If you're new to planted tanks and want to try growing for the first time, this is a good one to start with. Its an extremely easy keep and can survive a wide range of water parameters. Like other Anubias plants it can grow in both aquariums and terrariums either submerged or emersed.
Anubias Nana is a flowering plant that grows best when the rhizome is attached to a hard surface such as wood or stones. They have low to medium light requirements and can benefit from regular fertilization. CO2 is not necessary but can promote faster growth and more robust leaves. Since its a slow grower, the leaves are susceptible to algae growth if placed under high lighting.
Propagation is easy and straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be replanted.
*Each mat is roughly 6.5" x 5" with 4 suction cups attached to the back. It is equivalent to roughly 8-10 portions of the usual potted Anubias Nana.
*Comes in blister packaging

I really loved adding this to my new 20 gallon tank. It arrived in great shape and is thriving in the tank! Great way to add depth/texture!
These are the only way to go for a unique look with a hardy plant. I'm no expert, and my oldest epaqmat is over 6 months old, thriving and flowering. Amazing cover for fry, also! The 3 I just purchased will be used in the carved stone (also from Buceplant and I also highly recommend!) for a fancy Oranda goldfish tank. Go for it!
This is the single best item I've bought for my aquarium. I filled the entire back of a 20 gallon with two of these leaving enough room for a heater and filter. It gave the tank so much depth, and my beta and tetras just zip in and out of it for hours. I would consider upgrading the suction cups if you plan on doing it this way but the ones it came with will work with a bit of effort. it comes with so many plants, you could easily just buy one of these plus a few extra plants and be done with it. Easily plantable on side of tank or in substrate - plants came in healthy(id give em a once over and a rinse though!). This is also anubias - easy to care for!!! Would buy again and plan to.
This is an insane item , didn't want to stick to wall so I cut one section of the mat to put in one tank, contained about 3 plants and the glued the rest to a large rock. A few plants were even flowering.. I think in total there are 15 plants on mat so you do the math
