Aglaonema Simplex, commonly known as Malayan Sword or Chinese Evergreen, is a hardy tropical plant prized for its lush green foliage and adaptability. Easy to care for and tolerant of lower light conditions, it thrives in humid environments with nutrient-rich substrates. Its upright growth habit and broad leaves make it an excellent choice for adding height and texture to paludariums, terrariums, and other emersed planted displays.
Aglaonema Simplex is not a true aquatic plant and should not be grown fully submerged. Instead, it performs best in the emersed portions of paludariums, ripariums, and terrarium-style setups where its roots can remain consistently moist while its foliage stays above water. Ideal for creating a lush tropical backdrop in high-humidity environments.
