Common Name: Cryptocoryne Wendtii Sindoor, Water Trumpet, Wendtii Sreepadma Sindoor
Cryptocoryne Wendtii Sindoor is a new variation of Cryptocoryne available to the aquarium community. This particular Crypt was created from Wendtii Brown and developed in lab to ensure a stable mutation. Its name refers to the rich maroon to pink tones the plant produces when grown in suitable conditions for Cryptocoryne species. Because this variety is relatively new, it can be assumed that care is similar to other forms of Cryptocoryne plants.
Cryptocoryne do best when provided with a nutrient-dense aquarium soil and stability. Cryptocoryne plants require time to establish strong root systems and frequent moving or parameter changes will slow growth and impact overall health.
