Common Name: Erio Cinereum, Eriocaulon 'Polaris'
Eriocaulon Cinereum is a small and attractive pipewort plant thats considered both rare and harder to keep. This aquatic plant can be finicky and it requires softer water with a rich substrate to thrive since it mainly draws nutrients from the root system. Lighting needs to be intense and CO2 injection is a must if you want this plant to thrive. Eriocaulon makes an excellent addition to the foreground due to its miniature size and looks great in aquariums of all sizes. Eriocaulon species are still harder to find and rarely sold outside of the hobbyist marketplace.
