Hydrocleys nymphoides is an aquatic plant known for its glossy green leaves and bright yellow, poppy-like flowers. Found in shallow waters, it's a beautiful and functional choice for ponds or paludariums that have an emersed section. Water poppies add texture and simultaneously help filter water, ensuring your setup is clean and healthy. This plant is generally easy to care for, but needs strong lighting. In outdoor settings, it prefers full sun exposure for a minimum of 6 hours. If you plan on growing it indoors, we recommend placing it in an area that receives plenty of light to support growth. Once it takes off, trim it regularly to manage its spread. It can be propagated easily by trimming along its runners and replanting.
