Manzanita Driftwood
Manzanita is a branchy type of driftwood that adds a natural touch to your aquarium. This wood has been cleaned through pressure washing and ready for use with any aquascape. Wrap some moss around the twigs to create a moss tree, or simply stick it directly into your fish tank. Either way, this wood adds a natural touch to any aquarium.
Driftwood can leech tannins which can cause a slight yellow or brown tint to your water. This is natural and the effects will reduce over time. Boiling the wood prior to use can decrease the tannins leeching.
Manzanita is buoyant and can float upon initial. Soak it for a few days prior to use to allow the wood to sink.
Important note: We recommend rinsing wood thoroughly before adding it to an established aquarium. If you prefer, you may also boil the wood for at least 1-2 hours to help release tannins.
