"This light was pretty decent and worked as intended for a bit, but after about a year, half of the light turns purple. This is a sign that the LEDs are defective. This is typically due to manufacturing error, or possibly even overheating(this light does get hot on full brightness). Additionally, the touch capacitive power/setting button can be incredibly finicky sometimes and become unresponsive. There are even times where it'll randomly change the brightness on its own. Assuming these issues did not exist, I'd be happy with the light; Unfortunately, this one is a miss."

The housing is “aluminum look” coated plastic that would not survive the stress of everyday life for a very long period of time.
