The Vortex Dymax Cooling Fan is designed to help control the water temperature during warmer months of the year. High temperatures can be detrimental or fatal to the livestock and plants. With a build in clamp, this fan can be securely attached to the the edges of most aquariums. The fan will blow air across the surface of the water and reduce the water temperature by evaporative cooling. Air flow can be directed by adjusting the flexible arm to achieve optimum performance.

Available in two sizes, the W-5 and W-8, the Vortex Dymax Cooling Fan is a compact and quiet option to prevent an overheated aquarium. This fan can also be connected to an aquarium thermometer for automated control.

Whats the width of the clamp? Would it work on a rimmed tank
