"This skimmer has become my favorite nano filter to use. It has enough flow for my 30cm cube setup and keeps the water surface crystal clear. Since the top component of the skimmer floats based on water level and has an inch or two of clearance from the bottom pump component, it gives you some leeway to add extra media with the default sponge depending on how far down the tank you place it. I stuffed some filter floss in to clean out some of the fine particles for now and I might later try to incorporate some purigen into it somehow."
