The UNS Paludarium Bulkhead set is an official plumbing accessory kit engineered specifically for the Ultum Nature Systems Paludarium E Series, including the UNS 45E and 60E tanks. With the pre-drilled 40mm rear plumbing ports on UNS E Series tanks, these bulkhead fittings allow you to connect external filtration seamlessly through the back of the aquarium.

These bulkheads are designed specifically to fit the pre-drilled 40mm ports on the back glass panel of the UNS 45E and UNS 60E Paludarium models.

2. How do these bulkheads connect to my canister filter?
The bulkhead fittings pass through the rear glass ports, allowing you to attach flexible tubing or double tap valves from an external canister filter (such as a UNS Delta 30, 60, or 90) directly to the rear of the tank.

3. Should I use Teflon tape or silicone when installing the bulkheads?
No, the included rubber gaskets provide a complete watertight seal. Place the rubber gasket on the wet side inside the tank and hand-tighten the plastic locknut on the outside. Do not over-tighten, as excessive pressure can crack the glass or deform the rubber seal.
