"I thought this would be smooth textured similar to river stone. There is slight grittiness which I mention so other newbies like me understand this rock does have some texture. It’s not crazy rough but not glasslike either. Love the color. It’s a mix between a putty gray color with ivory veins and some bluish-gray tones."

"IF YOUR CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT WEIGHT TO GET; I have a 1 ft / 30 cm 5 gal cube. If you are trying to fill your small tank with rocks, get the I can guarantee you will get a stupid-big rock. I got a 1 super elephant skin rock with like 5 medium ones and plenty of micro love. I was able to build an insane cave and have 4 beautiful MEDIUM stones leftover which could be focal points in their own tanks in their own rights. So if you are wondering weather to get 20 or 30lbs. know that if you want a loud amount of rocks in at 5-20 gal, get 30. If you got a larger tank, god bless."
"beautiful stones with a unique texture to them. keep in mind that you will get assortment of sizes, you could get a bunch of little ones or a bunch a every size. mine where mostly the same size but they where perfect for my project. just wish i had bought more to brake and use as scatter gravel. important note: this stone WILL lower the ph, i have hard water (usually spikes close to 8 on high ph) and now with frequent water changes its close to 7. 4 high ph and still lowering over time. (had the stones for a month)"
