This lightweight natural rock features a spectrum of deep brick-red to burnt-orange tones, providing a warm, organic contrast to green aquatic plants. The porosity of this natural stone makes it an excellent addition to your aquarium filtration system; its millions of tiny holes provide a massive surface area for beneficial nitrifying bacteria to colonize. The texture also makes it a perfect pick for anchoring mosses, ferns, and other epiphytic species. I have a 75 gallon tank with mbuna and was wondering how many pounds of lava rock to get. Help. Want to spread across and come up about half way.
