Solid quality plants

The plants were perfect. I am so pleased with the two orders I have placed with Buce Plant and would recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for aquatic plants.

We put our plants, and these plants specifically, in a 125 gallon aquarium with an axolotl we have had for a couple years.

They handle the cold water well and their quality stays solid for a long time. The size of the plants are exactly how they are described. If I’m being honest, they looked a little bigger than I expected!! Which was great!

Common Name: Bolbitis Heteroclita

Bolbitis Heteroclita looks more like Java Fern in comparison to Bobltis Mini and Difformis. It’s a slow growing fern that can be grown submerged or emsersed. Like Java Ferns, Anubias and Buce, the rhizomes can be attached directly onto wood or rock.  Larger plants can be propagated by dividing along the rhizome and replanting.

Notes:

  • Bolbitis prefer to be placed in areas of an aquarium that experience higher flow rates.
  • Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
  • Remove the cotton surrounding the roots. For instructions on how to properly prep aquarium plants, click here.
  • Burying the rhizome will cause the plant to die.
  • Plant is grown best attached to wood, rock, or sitting on top of substrate.
  • CO2 injection and quality aquarium soil will yield better growth.
  • Please research appropriately to ensure your plant thrives.
