Bucephalandra Nanga Pinoh Tangerine
Bucephalandra Nanga Pinoh ‘Tangerine’ has oblong leaves with gently wavy edges. Its bright green color and subtly colored stems add a nice pop of contrast and interest to any planted tank. Its moderate size makes it perfect for the midground of aquariums 10 gallons and up.
Like other Buce, Nanga Pinoh ‘Tangerine’ is a slow grower and does well in low-light tanks. You can attach it to driftwood, rocks, or other tank decor using super glue or thread. Adding CO2 can help speed up growth and help the plant produce healthier leaves. Once your plant is established, propagation is easy—just cut the rhizome and attach the new pieces wherever you like. A great addition to any Buce collection!
Notes:
- Bucephalandra is an epiphytic aquarium plant so it can be attached to aquarium hardscape.
- Do not plant Bucephalandra in substrate and cover the rhizome. This will cause it to melt and rot.
- Please be sure to remove this plant from its pot. Remove the rockwool surrounding the roots and attach to hardscape. For instructions on how to properly prep "potted" aquarium plants, click here.
- Bucephalandra’s final size, coloration and growth rate are dependent upon the condition of the aquarium Photos are a representation of what you will receive and may vary.
- Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
- CO2 injection will yield better growth.
- Please research appropriately to ensure your plant thrives.
