Common Name: Hygrophila Odora
Hygrophila Odora is a unique plant that displays a unique leaf shape. Being a marginal species, Hygrophila Odora can be grown in both submerged aquarium settings or emersed above water as long as proper bog-like conditions are provided. When grown emersed, this plant produces upright growth with dense short hairs covering its leaves and light bluish-purple blooms. When grown in the aquarium, Hygrophila Odora is bright green in color and appearance is similar to a cross between Hygrophila Difformis and Pinnatifida with thick stems. This particular Hygrophila species can be rather demanding when grown in submerged settings and will require soft water, CO2 injection, strong lighting and a quality source of nutrition for proper growth.
Notes:
- Tissue culture plants are grown in vitro from a state of the art laboratory specialized in propagating aquatic plants. They provide the best option for those who want to ensure that absolutely zero unwanted pests are introduced into the aquarium.
- Remove tissue culture gel before planting. Simply wash the gel away or soak the plant in water and squeeze the gel off with your fingers.
- Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.

A nice, healthy and full tissue culture cup
"I'm not normally a fan of UNS tissue cultures as generally I've found them to be sub-par compared to the cups from other companies. I'm pleased to say though that these were high quality and full of healthy plantlets. UNS, please keep this up."
Great quality plants
"This tissue culture is phenomenal! It's already doubled in size since receipt 2 weeks ago and looks to be a very hearty plant. Also happy with the freshness and size of the Egeria densa, which have been thriving. They were shipped securely and came pretty quickly. I'm sure I'll be back soon!"
