Straight Vals are unique types of vals characterized by the straight vertical leaves. They act as the perfect background plants, growing tall and fast to create a jungle like appearance. Vals are grass like plants that spread along side shoots and can grow to the height of your aquarium. They are nutrient loving plants that anchor deep into the substrate.

Notes:

  • Vallisneria are heavy root feeders and should be planted deeply in quality aquarium soil.
  • Vallisneria grows very large and tall making them suitable for larger planted aquariums.
  • Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.

The aquatic plants I received

"The aquatic plants I received were incredibly healthy and looked great right out of the package. I did have one clump of 4 that I decided not to use. the other 3 packs were in great shape. They are melting but rooting fast so I think we will be fine in a few weeks. They were easy to plant, and the online instructions were clear and helpful. I did a short quarantine just to be safe, even though they appeared clean and free of pests. Overall, a great product—very satisfied with the purchase."

Was a lot of Val just not alive

"The condition they arrived in wasn’t great. They were yellowed and had very noticeable roots. The leaves were yellow and the vallisneria didn’t look to good. I’m hoping I was just dealt bad bunches or they didnt do to good during shipping"

Better than ones purchased locally!

"Arrived carefully packaged. The plants had yellowing leaves and brownish tips, BUT, I followed all the steps I'd learned about this plant and IT IS THRIVING!!! The Vals took a few days but once it adjusted, I could see growth happening quickly and now it is developing strong foundation/ roots and looks happy! This was a much better experience/ quality than plants I have bought locally in my area."

Frozen Plants, My own fault.

"The plants looked great and the packaging was also good. Unfortunately my plants were frozen when they arrived so they ended up dying. Nobody’s fault but my own because it was very cold outside when they were delivered. I paid extra for the insulated box but it just wasn’t enough. Will be trying more plants from Buce when the weather is warmer!"
