Marsh Stone is a natural rock comparable to Hakkai Stone, with the key difference being a lighter color palette of light grey and white tones. It features smoother, semi-rounded edges and a water-worn shape, making it a perfect pick for authentic river-style aquascapes. Its grooves and crevices are ideal for attaching aquarium mosses or epiphytic plants, adding a layer of mature detail to your hardscape. Whether used in a minimalist Iwagumi layout or a mixed hardscape with driftwood, Marsh Stone contrasts against a variety of aquatic plant species. It is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.
Stones vary in shape, size, and density.

Marsh Stone
"Ordered 30 lbs. Arrived undamaged. Received about 12 pieces. 4 of the stones weren't as nice as the others but the remaining 8 were really nice. Various sizes (3 large, 3 medium and 2 small). Overall happy with these stones."
Nice stones, but no variety in size
"I ordered 20 pounds of marsh stones thinking I would get a variety of sizes, but the order contained about five large stones which were all almost exactly the same size. They are nice looking stones, but not very useful in aquascaping without a variety of sizes. I considered placing a 5lb or 10lb order to hopefully get smaller stones, but was informed by support that size variety cannot be guaranteed. At the risk of receiving more of the exact same size stone, I decided not to place any additional orders for stones."
Beautiful stones
"I love these stones. They are nicely rounded and etched with deep lines . I ordered 30 pounds for my 75-gallon tank. The sizes range from small to quite large (over 8 pounds). The gray color will be perfect with my other hardscape."
Great variety & amount
"Ordered 20lbs & was glad to find a great variety of sizes, shapes, & tones of color. I do wish there were some larger pieces, but this amount was more than enough to scape my 22g shallow tank. I have enough left over to scape another nano tank! (All stone shown in tank are from one 20lb order + extras in box)"

Q&A
- will it change the water chemistry in my aquarium?
- Hi Theo, Thank you for your question. Marsh Stones have similar characteristics that are found in Hakkai Stone. Yes, the stone should be inert to use in your tank. Kind Regards. -Team Buce Plant
