Fenestratarum Mulyadii
Key Features & Notes
- As a newly discovered genus from East Kalimantan Timur, this species is exceptionally rare and highly sought after by advanced collectors and specialized aquascapists.
- The foliage is notably sturdier to the touch than common species, featuring deep green curves that mimic the appearance of premium Bucephalandra Belindae.
- While care is similar to other Bornean epiphytes, its rarity makes it best suited for aquarists experienced with slow-growing Araceae species.
- It is perfectly at home fully submerged in an aquarium or emersed in high-humidity terrariums, vivariums, and paludariums.
- Available in both plant and clump portions. Please note that clump portions are much larger in size and quantity.
Care Tips & Preparation
- This is an epiphytic plant that should be attached to rocks or driftwood. Never bury the rhizome in substrate, as this will cause the plant to rot and melt.
- Fenestratarum Mulyadii is extremely rare and little is known about this particular species. We recommend it for aquarists with experience keeping Bucephalandra, Aridarum, and Piptospatha species.
- Avoid making drastic changes to your water parameters or lighting. Unstable conditions are the primary cause of leaf melt in new specimens.
- While this plant is hardy and low-maintenance, CO2 injection will yield much faster growth. We recommend researching your specific water chemistry to ensure your plant thrives.
- Final size and coloration depend entirely on your specific aquarium conditions. Please note that photos are a representation, and individual plants may vary.
- Please research appropriately to ensure your plant thrives.
