Description

Common Name: Piptospatha Ridleyi

Piptospatha Ridleyi is a rare type Aroid that belongs to the same family as Bucephalandra, Cryptocorynes, and Homalomena.  It is characterized by the green leaves which contain random markings of various shades of green, sort of like a camouflage pattern.

Like other Aroids, Piptospatha is a flowering plant that can be grown both submerged or emersed.  It prefers high flow and lows to moderate light as too much lighting can cause algae with slow growers.
