Spiderwood is a our favorite type of driftwood here at Buce Plant HQ. Its so easy to use, any way you arrange it can turn into a natural masterpiece. The tangles and twists of every piece are enough to make any aquascaper's dreams a reality.
Driftwood can leech tannins which can cause a slight yellow or brown tint to your water. This is natural and the effects will reduce over time. Boiling the wood prior to use can decrease the tannins leeching.
Spiderwood is buoyant and can float upon initial use
Important note: We recommend rinsing wood thoroughly before adding it to an established aquarium. If you prefer, you may also boil the wood for at least 1-2 hours to help release tannins.
