Common Name: Myriophyllum Guyana

Myriophyllum Guyana is an uncommon beginners plant with soft, needle-like leaves. It grows in a dense bush, making it a great addition as a midground or background plant.  

Notes:

  • Pruning will be required to ensure other plants are not shaded from lighting.
  • Myriophyllum species makes a great midground or background filler plant choice!
  • Relatively hardy and adaptable to a range of aquarium parameters.

Flimsy

"Unless you're using actual soil, you'll need a fine and heavy substrate to keep the super thin and flimsy strands down, so they can grow. The stems dont all grow at the same speed either so, it's not uniformed and there will be one stem that's inches longer than the rest. Overall, if you can keep the stems planted, it creates a nice "bush" like visual effect."
