Finicky but lovely

"Arrived alive but slightly dried out -- the bottom of the bag was incompletely sealed and (very) slightly leaking. This plant is very, very sensitive to loss of water. But Buceplant ships strong, healthy plants, and after a thorough watering and 24 hours in a sealed jar, my 2 ferns bounced right back."

My babysitter was there to receive the package , but I didn’t take the plant out of the plastic till I got home, and by that time the leaves were dark. I put it InThe tank anyway in hopes it would pull through, but it unfortunately didn’t. It’s just hard to know sometimes, what exact day it comes on"

Is the "Trichomanes Javanicum Bornero Fern" an aquarium plant that can be submerged into substrate? The comment says it does not like to be submerged but it shows ph range in the description.
We highly discourage this. Burying the rhizome will cause the plant to die.
