Common Name: Bucephalandra Kedagang Japan

Tissue culture plants are grown in vitro from a state of the art laboratory specialized in propagating aquatic plants. They provide the best option for those who want to ensure that absolutely zero unwanted pests are introduced into the aquarium.

Buce Kedagang Japan is an easy plant that is perfect for beginners. It can be grown submerged or immersed. The plant is very slow growing, with new leaves sprouting from long, thin rhizomes. It can be propagated by separating the rhizome gently and attaching to driftwood and rocks using super glue gel or thread.

Notes:

  • Bucephalandra is an epiphytic aquarium plant so it can be attached to aquarium hardscape.
  • Do not plant Bucephalandra in substrate and cover the rhizome. This will cause it to melt and rot.
  • Bucephalandra’s final size, coloration and growth rate are dependent upon the condition of the aquarium Photos are a representation of what you will receive and may vary.

    Awesome!

"Great and healthy plants which arrive on time. Thanks!!"

"All the plants arrived well! A few melted after a few days in my terrarium, but I think that’s from the stress of moving out of a sterile environment. Overall the buce is gorgeous and I can’t wait to watch it grow!"

    Lots of little plants!

"Plants were in a little rough shape because FEDEX tried to deliver the order to a wrong address the day before and no one was home there...and the next day still delivered it to the wrong house again! No fault of Buceplants. Having said that, I was happy with the number of plants and they are all doing well glued to small rocks. Will buy again from Buceplants in the future!"

    Good variety of Buce

"shipping was prompt and packaging was good"

    Not sure it will survive

"Ordered this and another Buce along with some pacific wood and a bag of natural sand. The packaging was horrible. Nothing was stabilized in the box. Box was not labelled as fragile. It got knocked around in shipping and the wood punctured the bag of sand and the sand in turn crushed the plants. I don't normally have issues when I order stuff, but this was my first (mixed) order of plants and hardscape materials. I am surprised at the level of sloppy packing. I can't claim DOA since the plants are technically alive. Hopefully with some TLC, I can coax them through. One would think a 75 dollar order would have better care taken."
