Driftwood Tree Branches
These driftwood branches are perfect for making an underwater forest aquascape or forest canopy. When the tips are wrapped in moss or small epiphytes, these branches transform into realistic aquatic trees, providing a mesmerizing sense of scale and depth to any driftwood aquarium.
Product Features and Benefits
- The Tree Foundation: These clusters are the perfect scaffolding for aquatic mosses like Christmas, Java, or Flame moss. By attaching moss to the branch tips, you can grow a lush, green canopy that looks like a miniature forest.
- Natural Shelter: The dense network of tiny branches provides a jungle gym for shrimp, fry, and small nano-fish, offering safety and foraging grounds without occupying excessive water volume.

Preparation and Care
A little extra prep goes a long way in maintaining its stunning appearance.
- Rinse: Thoroughly rinse the piece to remove any dust or debris from transit.
- The Floating Phase: Like most branching aquarium wood, these are lightweight and will float initially. We recommend soaking them in a bucket until waterlogged or using a small dab of aquarium-safe glue to secure the trunk to a rock or the tank bottom.
- Tannin Management: These branches release a low to moderate amount of tannins. This is a natural occurrence, and the effects will subside over time. If you prefer crystal-clear water, a quick 1-hour boil will help fast-track the sinking process and minimize any amber tint. You can also reduce this effect through consistent water changes or through the addition of Aquario Neo Carbon Bag
Important note: We recommend rinsing wood thoroughly before adding it to an established aquarium. If you prefer, you may also boil the wood for at least 1–2 hours to help release tannins.
