We have taken a beautiful piece of natural driftwood and pre-attached two of the hardiest, most bulletproof staples in the hobby: broad-leafed Anubias Nana and lush, pine-like Christmas Moss. Because both species are famously low-maintenance and can thrive in low-light environments, this piece of aquarium plant decor is a great choice for beginners wanting an instant, professional-looking display with zero planting frustration.

• Combines the thick, smooth, teardrop-shaped leaves of Anubias Nana with the soft, feathery textures of Christmas Moss for a beautiful two-in-one contrast.
• The natural wood base slowly releases beneficial organic tannins into your water column. While this may tint the water a soft, tea-like amber, soft-water-loving fish and shrimp absolutely adore the natural water-conditioning effects.
•  Both plants are highly adaptable epiphytes, meaning they take their nutrients directly from the water column and will steadily grow without requiring expensive CO2 equipment.

Care & Planting Instructions

• Simply place the driftwood piece directly onto your substrate or nestle it securely between your rocks. Make sure the rhizome of the Anubias remains completely exposed to the water column; burying the rhizome in substrate will cause the plant to rot and die.
• Because this is natural, dry wood, it may try to float at first if it isn't fully waterlogged yet. Simply weigh it down with a clean stone for a few days until it stays down on its own.
• If you prefer crystal-clear water over a natural amber tint, perform regular weekly water changes and add some activated carbon to your filter media to quickly pull out the wood's natural coloration.
• Keep your water conditions stable. While these plants are incredibly resilient, sudden and massive changes to your tank chemistry can shock their systems and trigger leaf melting.
• Prune back the Christmas Moss whenever it starts growing wild to keep it compact. You can propagate your layout later by cutting the Anubias along its thick rhizome or by moving small moss clippings to new hardscape surfaces.
