Black River Slate
Black River Slate is a natural rock featuring a black to dark grey color with occasional brown and white streaks. This stone is very similar in appearance to Black Slate, but it is not as angular or flat; instead, it has a semi-round shape that mimics the look of water-worn stones. It's a good pick for creating authentic river or lake-inspired aquascaping layouts, or as an accent in larger tanks. While less uniform than traditional slate, these pieces still have great stacking potential and can be used to create beautiful waterfalls or as a natural spawning media for various fish species. This natural stone is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.
Stones vary in shape, size, and density.
