Black Slate

Black Slate is a natural rock featuring rich black and gray tones accented by subtle white streaks. This stone is relatively flat with great stacking potential, making it perfect for layering or building structures in your aquascape. While sturdy, it is easy to break into smaller pieces so you can craft customizable designs, such as pathways or caves. Black Slate also serves as an excellent base for mosses; simply wrap your favorite varieties around it to craft unique, moss-covered pieces. This natural stone is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.
