Dragon Stone (Ohko) Dragon Stone (Ohko)

Dragon Stone, also known as Ohko Stone, is a popular aquascaping rock named after it's scale like texture. The natural details and crevices gives your aquascape an aged look that can't be duplicated with artificial decorations.  The clay-like composition of this type of stone makes it brittle compared to other rocks, allowing larger rocks to easily be broken down with chisel and hammer.

Dragon Stone is inert and will not influence your water chemistry, making it the ideal layout material for any aquarium.

Pieces from packages will range from 3-15". If you have any special requests for sizes, please make a note when ordering and we will try to accommodate according to inventory.

2lbs is roughly one or two stones that range from 3-6 inches each

Stones require rinsing prior to use

Please leave a note during check out if you need small rubble pieces for your scape!

Rocks are nice, but didn't receive 20 lbs

I really like the rock, nice shapes and colors. I purchased a 20 lb box and it shipped immediately. The box had handwriting indicating it contained 16 lbs. I verified this with my shipping scale. Nice rock, just a little disappointed in the weight.

Interesting rock!

Ordered the smallest 2lb set and got 2 rocks. I have a 5 gallon tank since I'm just getting started and the larger rock was a little too big so I just broke it off into a couple smaller pieces. Definitely more than enough for my little tank. Really interesting look to them. Very porous. Very fragile though and came super dirty. It took a half hour of washing to make them suitable to go into tank. Would buy again though.

It's really the team that picks the pieces for you that shines.

Dragon stone is pretty much the same no matter where you get it. My local fish stores usually don't have much of it to pick through so I tend to order it online. The only problem is that I don't normally get a say in what pieces I get. When ordering from here just leave a comment on the checkout page stating what color, size, shape, and degree of pitting you'd like your stones to have and whoever is picking the pieces does a great job at getting pieces that match what you want. The packaging could be a little better though as the stones left a couple punctures in one of the controsoil bags I got but the spillage was minimal. I'm almost certain I'll be ordering more as I may have underestimated how much I'll actually be needing for my scape. For reference, the stones on the green towel weigh about 16 lbs with the one on the far left being 10"-11" long.

Stones are a different color from the pics

I thought the stones were going to be red/brown/orange like the ones in the photos and videos that they posted but the ones I got were gray and white. Colors may vary I guess. The stones look nice though
