Eriocaulon sp Quinquangulare Red UNS Tissue Culture
Eriocaulon Quinquangulare Red is a rare and coveted Erio. Still uncommon within the aquarium hobby, this aquatic plant is best suited for experienced aquascapers. For proper growht, it requires strong lighting, nutrient-rich aquarium soil and consistent CO2 injection. It should be planted in mature tanks that experience stable parameters. When grown successfully, Eriocaulon Quinquangulare is a beautiful ornamental plant that's perfect for the midground of planted aquariums.
It is easily a focal plant thanks to its narrow, spiky leaves that feature a gradient—deep reddish tones at the base that gradually fade into lighter green toward the tips. Its commonly cultivated in emersed forms for improved resilience, but can be transitioned to submerged growth when provided with stable conditions and careful attention. Propagation can be done by gently dividing healthy, mature plants that are established.
