This is an easy stem plant that can grow under a wide range of aquarium conditions. Its one of our favorite stem plants here at Buce Plant due to its "low tech" requirements and beautiful appearance as a background plant. The leaf shapes sort of look like mini Wisteria leaves but it grows more like a Cabomba.
It does prefer a nutrient-rich environment, clean water, and CO injection. It requires moderate light or the lower parts of the stems can start to turn yellow and die off. It is propagated through cuttings that easily take root in the substrate. This plant can be grown submersed or emersed.
