Maple Leaf Stone is a striking natural rock featuring a warm reddish-brown color and a fascinating, web-like surface texture. This unique "honeycomb" or leaf-vein patterning makes it a spectacular addition to any aquascaping project, providing a stark and beautiful color contrast against vibrant green aquatic plants. Its rugged, layered form is a perfect pick for creating dramatic canyon-style layouts or as a warm, textured hardscape centerpiece. Maple Leaf Stone is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a high-impact accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar bioactive enclosures.

Pieces from packages will range from 3-12 inches.

Notes:

  • This is a natural product and has the potential to alter water parameters slightly.
  • We recommend rinsing stones thoroughly before use to remove any natural dust or sediment.
  • Stone coloration darkens when wet.

Beautiful for my new scape

"Rocks are beautiful! I have them under a hanging Twinstar light which gives off a more reddish color and they look even more vibrant. The sizes are perfect, nice and big. I have 3 large stones still left over. Maple leaf stone looks like dragon stone and red fire stone came together and made this. This is a NEW SCAPE and plants from Buce are going to be ordered soon to finish it off. I have uns Aquasoil under the river pebble and I really like this over another brand I bought previously from Amazon."

Get those Mars rocks!

"Wasn’t sure how these might fit with everything else, but the brilliant color and textured surface is super cool. The natural pits offer lots of places to stick a Buce or anubias to get attached (always happy to not have to glue everything.) Really happy I took a gamble, and with just 2 lbs got several nice sized pieces with cool shapes & character."

Q&A

How large of a stone is available? How many lbs would I need to order?
Hi Karen, Stone sizes and shapes will vary. Upon checkout, notes can also be added for special size or style requests. Our team is happy to accommodate to the best of our abilities. If you have additional questions, please send us an email at support@buceplanthelp.zendesk.com
I ordered 4 lbs of this hoping to get some larger pieces but got a bunch of smaller pieces. Do you have larger pieces available. I’m very disappointed with my shipment
Hi Karen, A larger stone will likely amount to greater than 4LB. We recommend ordering a higher amount for larger pieces. Alternatively, you can include requests in the note section upon checkout. Our team is happy to accommodate to the best of our abilities.
Does this effect water pH?
With all stones, there is a chance of this. We recommend testing it out first before placing it into an established tank.
