This plant forms dense tufts of arching, narrow, dark green leaves. Ophiopogon pusillus can produce small, bell-shaped, pale lilac to white flowers on short stems, which are often followed by glossy, dark purple berries.Â
It's important to note that while Ophiopogon pusillus is sometimes used in aquariums, it is not a true aquatic plant. It may survive for a short period when submerged, but prolonged submersion will lead to deterioration. Therefore, it's best suited for terrariums or paludariums rather than aquatic environments.

"I have always loved aquariums and wanted to try a terrarium for my office. I have had it for about a year. The plants I originally got from a local nursery were supposed to be for terrariums but they got too tall and scragly. I looked all over at other local places but didn't find anything.
