3D Printed, poor fitting

"This is a 3D printed item that allows you to connect the overflow from the Reef Systems to a fleece roller like the Red Sea Reef Mat series. Not sure what this materiel is, (feels like PTEG). I think this should be included in the description, as I was unaware at the time of purchase. 3-D printers have come a long way, and I’m not sure what printer they used, but I would rate the print quality as mediocre to poor. The item itself comes in three components in total, which are loosely fitting, and doesn’t quite sit right. All in all, I am just disappointed with this product, and from a company like UNS who makes absolutely beautiful systems, I was expecting more."

Perfect for the job

"I have only been using the adapter for a few days so I cannot speak to long term reliability. It is 3D printed. The adapter fit perfectly in the UNS sump but the PVC fitting and the hole in the bottom were very tight and required some light sanding to go together."
