Amazing
This is an amazing regulator. At first, I was reluctant to buying it with the initial investment of 150+, but it is so worth it. Since my tank dose not have a cabinet to store filters, co2 etc. the look is supper important. This regulator look stunning. Sleek, modern, even if I had a cabinet I wouldn’t want to put it away! I love watching the bubble counter, especially since it complements the design with shiny steel. With the name “mini” I was expecting the regulator to be on the smaller side. I was presently surprised that it is larger, around the size of my hand in fact. It comes with replacement gaskets for every connection, a wrench for attaching to larger canisters, and the packaging insured that nothing arrived broken.
I would say that investing in a solenoid is the best decision for a planted tank. In fact, this regulator is the most expensive part of the tank, but well worth it. My plants are thriving, I don’t have to turn on and off manual co2 regulators 4 times a day, and I will probably never have to buy another regulator again. I can now also stock more delicate and difficult plants in my tank with the constant, steady levels of co2.
The only thing I wish was better is the length of the solenoid cord. It’s probably only 4 ft. long and unless there’s an outlet directly next to it, you will need an extension cord.
