We strongly recommend using pure Reverse Osmosis (RO) or distilled water. Using tap water with high mineral content (hard water) will cause calcium scale to accumulate on your tank glass, foliage, and internal spray nozzle tips over time.

"Have this added to a 10 gallon long UNS that I have made into a terrarium. Easy to set up especially when having the accessory clips to hold the nozzles in place. Stronger dispensing than I was expecting as you can see from the video the misting going up. Do have the UNS specified lid on the tank. Overall a nice product to maintain my terrarium moisture just wish there was a way to minimize the spray intensity."
"This system is a really nice misting system for a Paludarium. Impressive level of automation. You can tell it in increments of five seconds how long you want the mist to run and how many hours between mistings. Almost puts out too much mist. ( not really) Works great. I actually put a plexiglass shield on the front of my Paludarium to kind of contain the mist. Another quality product from UNS and Buce Plant."

"Bought this about a month ago for a 60 gallon paludarium. Pros: -My plants are appreciating it! -Installation was easy and fun -Looks really nice, easy controls -Big reservoir, have only had to refill once so far. You do have to pour slowly to keep it from overflowing. -Outputs a TON of mist, has great throw, almost feels oversized for the tank and doubt this would have any problem in a much larger system. Cons: -It's really loud! I can hear it from anywhere in my house, and it makes me jump if I'm in the same room when it kicks on. I wish I wasn't as bothered by this as I am, but I keep aquariums to relax and enjoy the peace they bring, and this one flaw is an unfortunately direct contrast to that goal. I have not yet found a solution. Not sure if it just needs vibration isolation or something more like a full enclosure. It nails everything else, but at the price point, that one flaw is hard to ignore. If noise and money aren't an issue, it's an easy recommendation."
