Dragon Stone (Ohko)

Dragon Stone, also known as Ohko Stone, is one of the most iconic pieces of natural rock in the hobby. Named for its incredible scale-like texture, these natural details and crevices give your hardscape an aged, ancient look that simply cannot be duplicated with artificial decorations. Dragon Stone displays a beautiful array of earthy colors ranging from reds and yellows to deep browns. Its unique clay-like composition makes it relatively brittle compared to other stones, which allows aquatic plants and mosses to easily self-attach to its craggy surface. This natural stone is also suitable for non-aquarium use and will work beautifully as a dramatic accent in terrariums, paludariums, or similar planted enclosures.

Pieces from packages will range from 3-10". Be advised that requests for pieces 8" or larger require a minimum purchase of 10 pounds.

Notes: 

• Dragon Stone is inert and will not influence water parameters.
• We recommend rinsing stones thoroughly before use to remove any natural dust or sediment.
• Stone coloration darkens when wet.
• Dragon Stone can be easily broken into smaller pieces with a chisel and hammer.
