Resilient and low-maintenance, Anubias plants are foundational epiphytes for planted tanks. Native to West Africa, these aquatic plants attach directly to hardscape via horizontal rhizomes and thrive under low lighting without requiring specialized CO₂ equipment, making them ideal for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.

Care & Planting Basics
Never bury the rhizome beneath substrate, as restricted water flow causes rot. Attach the plant to hardscape using aquarium-safe glue or thread, and keep it in shaded areas with good water flow. Master long-term care in our full guide: All About Anubias Aquarium Plants.
