Common Name: Anubias Nana Peacock

Anubias Nana 'Peacock' is a variety of Anubias Barteri var. nana that's popular within the aquascaping community. These plants are easy to care for and great for beginners and experienced aquarium hobbyists alike. Anubias is a classic rhizome plant that sprouts new growth from its horizontal stem. Like other forms, it grows well when attached to porous surfaces like driftwood or aquarium stones. This quality makes it versatile with placement in tanks! It's also capable of growing in emersed conditions, making it suitable for paludariums, vivariums and terrariums.

Like other forms, Nana Peacock is very similar to regular Nana and features deep green color and broad leaves that are great for filling in empty space. It's a slow grower and can be susceptible to algae growth if placed under lighting that's too strong. Make sure to provide good flow, CO2 (if possible) and a quality plant fertilizer for best results.
