I have a 16 gallon bio aquarium round beautiful to look at but the filtration is in the bottom of tank and it came with rock made out of a cement substance that looks like lava rock. The shrimp got caught up in the filtration and died. What a expensive lost and sad experience. So I replaced everything with shrimp size gravel .Now I hope it works.
