WARNING
"So i have only had the filter up a running for about 6 weeks, looks wise its stunning meets all my expectations. functionality is a whole different thing entirely. The tiniest piece of debris can stop this motor from running for example when i first set it up the flake i feed my shrimp stopped the flow down to about 10% of it functioning power. Cleaning it isn’t too bad, priming it is annoying but also once again not too bad. But I can’t wrap my head around why you can charge this amount for a filter and have a dog **** pump attached to it. Today i reached out to customer support hopefully i hear back soon. I will try to remedy the problem through BUCE first and see what happens. Invested a lot into it, hoping for a good outcome. I will post and update this review if between Buce and UNS we can fix it. But for now be weary of this my fellow Aquascaping nerds."

Dog Shit Pump
"Aesthetically sure. Nice. But the lack of tubing was the first red flag upon opening it. Then i noticed the $5 pump motor attached to the top of it… i told myself, nah, you paid $200 for this thing. So i plug it in for a trial run and it’s absolute dog water. I regret the purchase for the ridiculous price point. But am also incredibly annoyed that there isn’t an alternative."

"I have had this 6oz filter for bout two weeks now and I love how quiet it is. I have it working on a 3 gallon cube Fully Planted tank. Only thing I feel that need improvement Is a printed list of replacement parts like the O rings, filter pads, polishing pads. I do Hope that this will be available later. I did try and download the pdf from UNS directly But no Luck the web page is faulty and will lot let me down load it."

Could be better
"I have had the blitz 6oz for a few months now and it was OK till the pump started to make a high pitched noise every now and then. I cleaned filter out and I have no snails but it still keeps happening. I reached out to customer support 2 times and over a month later not a word from them so customer support did not respond so buy at your own risk because you are on your own."

Pricey, but very high quality
"Really pricey for what it is, but if you want to spend a bit, its a great alternative to a small hang-on-back filter for small systems which need lower flow. Be aware the tubing is only a little larger than airline tubing, so most standard accessories like lily pipes will not work. The kit comes with everything you'll need though, and I had it set up and running in 15 min."
