"This kit is great for a beginner. Please do note that getting the paintball canister is much harder to do then it looks. I recommend buying everything from here except the canister and going to a welding supply store that will provide you with a 5+ lb canister that only costs about $20 to trade out. Very frustrating the wild goose chase I went on trying to get this thing filled up then ended up buying a 5lb tank for $149 as my only option. I wish the product description was more honest about the thread count on the bottle and how to get it filled, I had to use a lot of ChatGPT to figure out the best way to get CO2."

"I am a complete noob when it comes to aquatic plants and also maintaining an aquarium filled with fish. I decided to venture into dosing c02 and this kit made sense to me. I’ve been doing homework trying to learn as much as I can before buying this kit. I just recently received this kit so it’ll be review on packaging and my 1st impressions on what I think of it. For one, it arrived quickly and I liked how everything was packaged. Everything looks top notch and I am very happy with my purchase. 7 bucks to fill the 24oz tank is what it cost me at a local welding supply store. The instructions are pretty much straight forward and if you don’t understand that then you can always watch their video on YT. I’m excited to get everything setup and dialed in. That’ll be a later review. Overall, I’m a happy camper!"

Great purchase experience and canister

"I have a 24oz paint ball canister and the uns mini regulator and this size is perfect for my 16 gallon setup, co2 lasts for months. Pro tip for refills, find a local firehouse supply company, they have all sorts of gases including co2, and they fill my 24oz for about 10 bucks. The proper way to fill these paint ball size canisters is by freezing the canister overnight(done by the place, not you), helping the liquid form of the co2 from the main tank stay in that form and fill the canister efficiently and fully."
